Description: Prerequisite: must be a member of AVCO, our student AV club. AV Student worker responsibilities include helping bands and other guests load in and set up equipment for an event, operating lights, sound, and projection for campus events and concerts, recording recitals and other campus events for live streaming and Archive, and other duties as assigned. The position reports to Audio Visual Coordinator.
Employment Dates: August 25, 2025 – May 15, 2026 (2025-2026 academic year)
Working hours and days: Hours vary by event schedule.
Regular or Occasional: Occasional
Student Life policies state: student employees may only have one regular job and may not work more than 19 hours per week.
Minimum age for employment: Individual must be at least 18 years of age or older.
Working conditions:Lifting 20-40 lbs., bending, kneeling, standing, frequent mobility, use of chemicals, ladders and equipment, moderate noise level, etc.
Salary: Tier 3 – – $12.63 per hour
Benefits: Student workers are not benefit-eligible, but receive campus and community benefits through their status as students.
