Position supports our Fixed Site operations. We provide Paid Training!

We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our team in preparation for the grand opening of our Cincinnati Donor Center in September 2025. In the meantime, selected candidates will gain valuable experience at our other Central & Southern Ohio Donor Centers in the Columbus area.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW (Job Overview): 

When you join our team as a Team Supervisor you will use your leadership, compassion and customer service skills to lead our blood collection team to going above and beyond ensuring that all donors have the best experience possible. WHERE YOUR CAREER IS A FORCE FOR GOOD (Key Responsibilities): 

  • Supervise blood collection staff at our Donor Center, including training and performance.
  • Drive for results and to serve others with a high level of respect for customer service.
  • Take the time to personally connect with donors – listen to their stories and help them understand the value of their donation.
  • Contribute to a friendly and fun environment. Team up with your co-workers to keep our donors coming back again and again.

 

Standard Schedule:

  • To best meet the needs of our donors and community, staff work a variable schedule which may include early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays. 
  • Schedule is provided two to three weeks in advance.
  • Monday-Friday working around the hours of the site, on call on Saturdays.

 

Training Schedule:

  • During the 7-week training period, new hires will be required to travel to Columbus for at least 15 days of hands-on, on-the-job training. These 15 days will be spread out over the 7 weeks and are not consecutive. For example, Week 1 may have no travel, Week 2 may require 1 day, Week 3 could require 2 days, Week 4 may require 3 days, Week 5 could require 2 days, Week 6 may require 3 days, and Week 7 might involve 5 days of travel. Please note, this is an example and the actual number of days may vary. 
  • Hotel accommodations may be provided in Columbus for the required days, if necessary.
  • If hotel accommodations are not needed, new hires will be reimbursed for mileage to and from Columbus for the scheduled training days.

Pay Information: 

  • Starting salary $65,000/year. Pay may increase depending on experience.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED (Minimum Qualifications): 

  • Bachelor’s degree OR a combination of education and work experience (four to eight years of work experience in a related field) is required.
  • Minimum two years of supervisory/leadership experience.
  • Customer service experience and effective verbal communication skills are required. 
  • Ability to work a variable schedule including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • A current, valid driver's license with a good driving record is required.
  • Physical requirements may include the ability to lift, push or pull heavy weights up and down ramps and stairs, good manual dexterity, the ability to sit or stand for long periods of time and adapt to long, irregular hours and frequent schedule changes are required.
  • Basic computer skills are required. Must be proficient with Microsoft office applications.

  • Prior apheresis or dialysis experience.
  • Prior leadership experience exceeding 2 years in a healthcare setting.
