POSITION SUMMARY

This position is responsible for ensuring the dining room is neat and clean at all times, and all necessary goods are fully stocked.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Essential Duties:
  1. Removes dishes from tables as necessary.
  2. Cleans and resets tables according to hotel standards.
  3. Helps to Run Food that is ready and complete.
  4. Assists servers with serving guests water, coffee refills, condiments, etc.
  5. Sets up and maintains work stations.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Responds promptly and follows through on guest requests in effective and friendly manner.
  • Adheres to hotel's safety procedures.
  • Adheres to sanitation standards, including using clean rags for cleaning tables, storage of kitchen equipment and cleanliness of food prep areas.
  • Scrapes and stacks all dishes and glassware.
  • Sweeps and mops kitchen floor at the end of each meal period and after each spill.
  • Performs daily cleaning duties as assigned by supervisor.
  • Performs daily side work duties as assigned by supervisor.
  • Informs manager of any maintenance and repair issues.

  • Maintains punctual, regular and predictable attendance.
  • Works collaboratively in a team environment with a spirit of cooperation.
  • Displays excellent communication skills including presentation, persuasion, and negotiation skills required in working with guests and coworkers and including the ability to communicate effectively and remain calm and courteous under pressure.
  • Respectfully takes direction from supervisor.
  • Complies with all safety policies, practices and procedures and reports all unsafe activities to supervisor.
  • Participates in proactive team efforts to achieve hotel and company goals.
  • Provides leadership to others through example and sharing of knowledge and skills.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
