Job Description

We are looking for a competent Construction Foreman and/or a General Laborer with the williness to be trained, who will eventually be able to coordinate operations and oversee workers at construction sites. A construction foreman has a background in the construction field, but does not need experience in waterproofing. You must be well-organized and favor safety above everything else. The ideal candidates are enthusiastic, honest, reliable, show pride in their work and like being part of a team.

Responsibilities

Coordinate tasks according to priorities and plans
Allocate general and daily responsibilities
Supervise and train workers and tradespeople
Ensure manpower and resources are adequate
Guarantee all safety precautions and quality standards are met
Supervise the use of machinery and equipment
Resolve problems when they arise
Ability to be trained in our methods
Work side by side with workers

Skills

Excellent organizational and leadership skills
Ability to communicate and report effectively
Problem-solving abilities
Good physical condition and stamina
High school diploma preferred
Valid Driver's Licence
Experience in air and power tools
Must be able to lift 80 pounds
Neat and tidy appearance, courteous, good manners and respectful
Must have reliable transportation to the office daily

We use a 4 day work week (Mon-Thur) 10 hour days with the opportunity to work half day Fridays and overtime may be required to finish a job.
