Title: Electrical Designer

Location- Mesa, AZ

Type: Long term Contract

JD:

• Create accurate electrical layouts, schematics, and wiring diagrams for various systems.
• Develop and maintain design documentation, including bills of materials (BOMs) and electrical specifications.
• Participate in design reviews and ensure all designs comply with applicable codes, standards, and product requirements.
• Support the manufacturing and installation process by providing technical guidance and resolving design-related issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, production, and quality, to ensure seamless project execution.
• Analyze existing designs for potential issues and propose effective solutions to optimize safety, performance, and manufacturability.

Required skills and qualifications

• Associate degree in Electrical Design/Drafting, Vocational or Equivalent experience. (Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering preferred)
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical design and drafting, preferably related to HVAC or industrial products.
• Proficiency in CAD/Solidworks software for electrical design.
• Strong understanding of electrical codes and standards (e.g. NEC, IEC).
• Ability to perform electrical load calculation and component selection.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• High attention to detail with a methodical and precise approach to design and documentation.
