Job Description

Responsibilities + Manage warehouse automation projects from start to finish, ensuring timely delivery within budget and scope. + Pursue new business opportunities in the warehouse automation sector, building strong relationships with potential clients. + Utilize knowledge of autonomous guided vehicles (AGVs), automated supply and retrieval systems (AS/RS), and racking solutions to design and implement efficient warehouse automation systems. + Prepare accurate project estimates, including cost analysis and budgeting, to ensure financial viability and profitability. + Collaborate with clients, vendors, and internal teams to ensure clear communication and alignment on project goals and deliverables. + Monitor project progress and performance, implementing quality control measures to ensure high standards are maintained. + Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success. + Support the development of plans for vendor engagement, contract execution, and third-party deliverable tracking. + Oversee the definition of physical infrastructure, system throughput requirements, and technical specifications in collaboration with SMEs. + Provide consistent status updates and program dashboards to stakeholders, executives, and steering committees. Essential Skills + Minimum of 8 years of experience managing large-scale projects, with at least 5 years in warehouse automation or industrial systems deployment. + Deep understanding of warehouse technologies, including material handling systems (conveyors, AMRs/AGVs), robotics, and WMS/WCS platforms. + Strong experience in project governance, risk management, and vendor coordination within a fast-paced logistics or fulfillment environment. + Excellent communication and presentation skills; able to interface with both technical teams and leadership. + Experience leading warehouse automation projects in a greenfield or brownfield setting. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Familiarity with project management and construction. + Knowledge of warehouse management systems and estimation. + Electrical engineering, controls systems, and mechanical engineering expertise. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $140000.00 - $150000.00/yr.
