Description We are looking for dedicated Event Staff to join our team on a contract basis in Santa Barbara, California. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring smooth operations during events by assisting with ticketing, guest entry, and providing exceptional customer service. This is a great opportunity for individuals with a passion for event coordination and hospitality. Responsibilities: - Assist with box office operations, including ticket scanning and resolving ticketing issues. - Facilitate a smooth and welcoming guest entry experience. - Arrive early to help with event setup, preparation, and coordination tasks. - Deliver outstanding customer service and hospitality to all event attendees. - Complete training on the event ticketing platform and app to ensure accurate and efficient usage. - Collaborate with team members to manage timelines and schedules effectively. - Support the execution of event activities and address any operational challenges promptly. Requirements - Previous experience in events, customer service, or ticketing is highly desirable. - Strong communication skills with a detail-oriented and friendly demeanor. - Ability to quickly learn and utilize ticketing software and mobile applications. - Must be available to work all scheduled event dates. - Excellent time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines. - A customer-focused mindset with the ability to handle high-pressure situations effectively.
