Job Description

Join the expanding team at Jackson Electrical Contractors Inc. (JEC), a family-owned business since 1999. We are seeking an experienced Industrial Electrician for our new location in Greenville, SC. Responsibilities

  • Bending and threading all types of conduit " rigid, aluminum and Robroy/Ocal"
  • Effectively communicate with customers to understand and meet their needs.
  • Repair, replace, and install electrical equipment and systems in industrial environments.
  • Understand and apply local, state, and federal electrical codes.
  • Use appropriate tools and testing equipment to complete tasks efficiently.
  • Work collaboratively with team members and maintain positive work conditions.
  • Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to all company guidelines and OSHA safety requirements
  • Motor controls
  • PLC wiring
  • Read blueprints and schematics
  • Machine operator a plus "mini excavator and lull"
  • Previous experience in water treatment is a plus.

Qualifications

  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, including lifting, carrying, bending, crawling, climbing, and balancing.
  • Strong work ethic with an emphasis on safety.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to follow through on assigned tasks.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision or collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Good interpersonal skills with a positive attitude and professional demeanor.
  • Must pass a pre-hire drug screening test and background check.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Schedule

This is a full-time position with an 8-hour shift. Weekend work and overtime are available. The successful candidate must be able to commute or relocate to Greenville, SC.
