This Neonatal Intensive Care Nurse position requires a minimum of two years of experience in a Level III NICU setting. The RN will provide skilled nursing care to neonates in a high-volume delivery hospital. Responsibilities include patient assessments, medication administration, treatment planning, and collaboration with the interdisciplinary team. Responsibilities:
- Providing skilled nursing care to neonates in a Level III NICU.
- Performing patient assessments and developing treatment plans.
- Administering medications and treatments.
- Collaborating with the interdisciplinary team.
- Maintaining accurate patient records.
- Responding effectively to emergencies.
- Participating in unit-based quality improvement initiatives.
Required Skills & Certifications:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Georgia.
- Minimum of two years of experience in a Level III NICU.
- AHA BLS certification.
- NRP certification.
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- Experience with Cerner.
Special Considerations:
- 7 am - 7:30 pm shift, including weekends.
- 13-week contract.
- High-volume Level III NICU environment.
Scheduling:
- 7 am to 7:30 pm shifts.
- Weekend shifts are required.
