UM Baltimore Washington Medical Center (UM BWMC) is seeking a Pediatric Hospitalist to join our well-established group, the largest of its kind within the University of Maryland Medical System (UMMS). Located just minutes from Baltimore and the Chesapeake Bay, BWMC offers the ideal blend of academic opportunity and community-focused care.
What the Role Offers:
Full-time position with 12-hour shifts (7a–7p / 7p–7a)
No call—enjoy true work-life balance
Always two pediatricians on shift—no solo coverage
Clinical responsibilities include:
Pediatric Emergency Department care
Coverage of Level II-A Special Care Nursery
Well Baby Nursery and inpatient pediatric unit (10 beds)
Attending deliveries as needed
Epic EMR in place for streamlined care coordination
Teach and mentor third-year pediatric residents, family medicine residents, and medical students rotating through the hospital
