This part-time (24 hours/week) temporary-to-permanent Licensed Social Worker position supports an adult day care program. The social worker provides direct social work services to participants, conducts comprehensive assessments, accesses community resources, and ensures continuity of care. A portion of the work involves home visits within a specified geographic area.

Responsibilities:
- Provide direct social work services to participants in an adult day care program, including individual and group counseling.
- Conduct comprehensive social, emotional, cognitive, and ethnic assessments.
- Develop and implement individualized integrated plans of care.
- Access and utilize community and financial resources for participants.
- Ensure continuity of care across the continuum of care.
- Conduct home visits as needed to assess participants' needs in their home environment.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
- Travel to participant homes within a designated area (Edmonds to Auburn).
Required Skills & Certifications:
- Master's degree in Social Work (MSW).
- Minimum two years of experience working with a geriatric population.
- Active WA LICSW, WA LSWAIC, or WA LASW license (temporary licensure accepted).
- BLS certification.

Special Considerations:
- Temporary-to-permanent position (13-week contract).
- Part-time (24 hours/week).
- Some home visits required within a specified geographic area (Edmonds to Auburn).
- Mileage reimbursement for travel between work locations (not for commute).
- Travel is expected to occur within the 8am-5pm workday.
- Open to both local candidates and travelers, including first-time travelers.
- No weekend or on-call requirements.
- RTO restrictions to be confirmed with the hiring manager.
Scheduling:
- Part-time (24 hours/week), 3 x 8-hour days.
- The social worker has autonomy in scheduling home visits, independent of their personal commute.
