As a member of the software engineering division, apply knowledge of software architecture to perform tasks associated with developing, debugging, or designing software applications or operating systems according to provided design specifications. Build enhancements within an existing software architecture and/or suggest improvements to the architecture. May telecommute. (385.34002) Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field. Position requires: 1. C, C++, Python, Bash, and Linux OS; 2. Networking, Distributed Storage, Algorithms, and Data Structure; 3. Network Security or Computer Architecture; 4. Multi-thread/multicore programming and Operating System; 5. AMD, Ampere/ARM and Intel Architecture; 6. Linux Kernel drivers and interfaces such as SPI, I2C/I3C, SMBus, PMBus, USB, UART, and Ethernet controller; 7. Unified Extensible Firmware Interface (UEFI) and Socket Programming; 8. Board bring-up and debug; and 9. Software Architecture and Reliability Availability Serviceability (RAS). May be eligible for bonus and/or equity.
