About the Role

We’re looking for a Survey CAD Technician who can either work primarily in the office or grow into that role from the field. This is an ideal position for someone who wants to be involved in the full lifecycle of survey projects, from data collection to drafting final deliverables.

If you’re currently in the field and interested in transitioning toward CAD work — or if you’re already drafting and want to deepen your surveying knowledge — this is the place for you.

What You’ll Do

• Draft boundary, topographic, ALTA, and construction survey plans using AutoCAD Civil 3D
• Process field data from GPS and total station crews
• Coordinate closely with field teams and project managers to ensure clean data workflows
• Perform deed and map research as needed to support boundary work
• Help develop standardized drafting procedures and file management systems
• Optional: Join field crews when needed for hands-on data collection

What We’re Looking For

• 1–5+ years of experience in survey drafting using AutoCAD Civil 3D
• Field experience is a plus — especially for hybrid-minded candidates
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Interest in learning or continuing to grow in boundary and engineering surveys
• Motivated, self-starter mindset
